Mushroom Locally called kanye chyau
whereas scientifically known as
Pleurotus ostreatus
 Introduced to Nepali farmers
in1984
 Most consumed and produced
species in our country
 Hilly and terai region during
winter suitable
 Temperature preferable below
30 degree Celsius
 Can be harvested in 24 -30
days, multi harvesting 3-5 times
