This document provides instructions for using a Zebra GK420d printer to print and distribute passes at Ocean Hills Country Club. It describes the 5 step process for removing a printed pass from the printer, which involves securing the printer, positioning the hand to receive the pass, allowing the pass to be fed into the hand, pinching the pass, and smoothly removing it. It also explains that once printed, the pass should be given to the security guard on duty or directly to the recipient if no guard is present. Completing this training including dry runs and a test will result in certification to use the Zebra GK420d printer for 6 months.

GK420d
This is the Zebra
GK420d in neutral
mode. The Zebra
GK420d is used to print
passes for guests,
vendors, and real estate
agents, allowing them
to enter Ocean Hills
Country Club. It is
sometimes used to print
passes for residents
(i.e. new residents or
residents with new
cars).
3. REMOVING
THE PASS
(STEP ONE)
After locating the
correct information for
the guest, vendor, or
real estate agent, use
the mouse, located at
the right hand side of
the keyboard , to select
print. Remove your
right hand from the
mouse and place it on
the Zebra GK420d.
Place enough pressure
on the Zebra GK420d to
keep it in place
throughout the entire
process.
4. REMOVING
THE PASS
(STEP TWO)
After securing the Zebra
GK420d with your right
hand, place your left
hand near the output of
the Zebra GK420d and
extend your thumb
upwards in preparation
of receiving the pass. As
all hands are different
sizes, it will take some
practice to determine the
proper placement of your
hand so that the front of
the pass meets the space
between your thumb and
forefinger.
5. REMOVING
THE PASS
(STEP THREE)
As it prints the Zebra
GK420d will feed the
pass into your left hand.
Do not be alarmed!
After the Zebra GK420d
completes the printing
process, gently press
your left thumb down
on the pass as if
pinching it (see Step
Four).
6. REMOVING
THE PASS
(STEP FOUR)
With the pass firmly in
the grip of your pinch,
continue pressing down
on the Zebra GK420d
with just enough
pressure to keep it in
place as you prepare to
remove the pass.
7. REMOVING
THE PASS
(STEP FIVE)
Gently pull, in an even
and smooth motion, the
newly printed pass
towards you. Be sure to
use enough force to
cleanly remove the pass
from the Zebra
GK420d. Do not
remove your right hand
from the Zebra
GK420d until the pass
is removed!
9. PASS
DISTRIBUTION
(PART TWO)
If no guard is present,
get up from your chair
and distribute the newly
printed pass to the
guest, vendor, or real
estate agent.
