Vice President/Head Market Risk and Middle Office (Jul 06‐Present)
Currently working as Head of Market Risk, I am reporting directly to Chief Risk Officer‐ Pakistan and Group Head Risk Control in ensuring that a robust risk control
framework around the business activity in Treasury exists. Lead a team of 4 staff members and reaffirms that different risks emanating from Treasury activity are
being adequately identified, managed, controlled, monitored and reported.
Unit Management
Supervise team members for Business Control and Risk Reporting.
Regular engagement and interaction with the team to monitor results assess progress and recommend areas of development need.

Liquidity Risk Reporting‐ including Liquidity Stress tests, GAP mismatches, LCR and NFCR reporting.
Perform detailed analysis of Peer Bank’s Investment Portfolio for Investment and Asset and Liability Committee review.
Calculate and report capital charge for different classes of Treasury Investment Portfolio as per Basel II/III standards.
Conducts Bank’s annual ICAAP exercise by gauging institution’s additional capital requirement against Liquidity, Interest, Strategic, Reputational,
Concentration Risk etc.
