I enjoyed working with my group and learned many new things that would be useful for my career as a teacher and these are some details about my work with my group.<br />The group experience:<br />First the group leader divided the work and gave each member of the group a part to work on it for the project. For example When Fatima completed her part she sent it to me so I can complete over her and send it to the person who's responsible for the next part.<br />The group meeting:<br />The group leader organized an online meeting to divide the work then we met at BTC after each step to discuss it. Two days before the presentation we had our last online meeting to agree on the PowerPoint details.<br />My contribution to the group work:<br />I worked on the second step for the presentation which was the principles; I did some reading fist and summarize the most important ideas, then sent it to Masooma so she can work on her part. <br />My reflection:<br />Our theory is behavior modification by Skinner, which depends on using reinforcement and rewards to increase the wanted behavior or decrease the unwanted ones. <br />I am thinking of using some Skinner's strategies especially cueing , I will give them the cues for each unwanted behavior in the beginning of the year so they will be used to it through time. It would help my students to understand the rules and be committed to them. In addition, I think that using rewards for children can be really useful in order to control their behavior. For example, I can use this idea by telling them that the student who gets the more stars during the year will have the prize that he\she can choose. <br />These are some of the important points that I really think that I am going to use it when I have my own class.<br />Zahra Ibrahim<br />
