Subject: Expression of gratefulness for the granted allotment of 50 acres of farmland
within the Tana Hurara Farmers CBO
We would like to thank you very much for the farmland of 50 acres granted to Barka
Foundation for Mutual Help. On the assigned area we would like to build Kenyan Centre for
Solidarity Economy which will serve as an incubator for development of local initiatives of
famers in rural areas, new technologies, alternative energy sources and other ventures. We
are deeply grateful for your gift and will make sure that it serves the common good of local
communities.
We would like to thank you for your enriching presence during Barka Foundation’s study visit
in Kenya on 28/04 – 09/05/2012 and your active and fruitful participation in the meetings.
Thank you for bringing us closer to African nature and the wildlife. Thank you for making us
familiar with Tana Hurara Famers CBO, the organisation which we believe has a great
potential and a bright future with a large group of farmers, breeders and fishermen having
extraordinary opportunities for development of entrepreneurship and infrastructure.
We are now in the process of creating an international association in Brussels, which will
with joy, embrace opportunities for cooperation with Hurara Farmers CBO. And we are
continuing the work to launch the EQUAL of Europe with Africa project which will bear fruits
in the nearest future.
We would like to extend our warmest invitation to you and your collegues and friends to
visit Barka communities and Social Reintegration Centres in Europe.
With friendship,
Tomasz and Barbara Sadowski
