LETS START WITNESSING ACTS 1:8
LESSON ONE WHY WITNESS? A. Its a command from Himself. B. Its a necessary conviction for ourselves.
The Greek is Martus (mar-toos) which means Martyr. 1. He is to extract information from a prospect. 2. He uses the information with the aid of and through the Holy Spirit to bring conviction to the prospect.
3. He maneuvers his prospect to the point of seeing their need of facing a decision for Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior. A. Learn to tell what you know ( by mouth and tracts) B. Soul-winning can be a terrifying experience, if youre not equipped.
E. God wants faithfulness! Everyone can give this.
LESSON TWO THE POWER OF GOD Key word - Surrender ! (Eph. 5:18) Matt. 28:18 - says all power. Matt. 28:19 - says Go ye therefore. Matt. 28:20 - says I am with you alway. Be a disturber for Jesus sake to others.
LESSON THREE PERSON TO PERSON Key Scripture (John 3:1-7) Must I witness to everyone? NO.
LESSON FOUR REVIEW AND CHALLENGE A. Why is this important? To over come fear and to be adequately trained. III. Key word is Surrender. A. Power comes as we Go. (Matt. 28:18-20) A. Our part is to give them out.
B. Gods part is to use them for His glory. A. Key word Enthusiasm. A. Sarcasm will come - dont quit!

A. Personal salvation - make sure you are saved! (Rom.8:9,14,16) B. Character that is consistent: (1Cor. 4:2) C. Consecration which is genuine. (Rom. 12:1-2) LESSON ONE WANT TO BE WISE?

A New Testament (K.J.V.) Hows my heart? Psalms 126:5,6 and Eph. 6:15. All have sinned (Romans 3:10, 23). Penalty for sin (Romans 6:23a). Gods payment for sin (Romans 5:8). Gods free gift (Romans 6:23b / 10:13).
D. Nagging - we need to have persistence. F. Resentment - Change subject. I. Dont be worldly - people will know. H. Dont be fearful - remember its Gods working with you.
LESSON THREE THE PERSONAL APPROACH AND CONTACT
1. People are lost. 2. People are dieing. 3. People are going to hell. 4. Its my privilege and duty. 5. Its my command from Jesus.
1. At the door - knock hard and repeatedly. 2. State or affirm - personal and church name. 3. Be kind and courteous. Look for their interest. Win their friendship.
LESSON FOUR THE MESSAGE
A. The Fact that all have sinned. Romans 3:10 and 23. (Romans 5:12,19) B. The Penalty for sin. [wages = pay or a soldiers pay - all are in service for either God or the devil - who are you serving? (Romans 6:16-17)] Romans 6:23a and 5:12-15,17.
C. Jesus Christ paid for that penalty of ours. Romans 6:23b and 5:8-10. [saved by His blood and His life] D. We must Accept Him as our personal Savior. (John 1:12, Rev.3:20) Romans 5:17 and 5:1,2,9,10 and 10:8-13.

LESSON FIVE THE CLOSING DO WE HAVE A SINCERE BURDEN FOR SOULS?
I. MAKE SURE THE PERSON UNDERSTANDS. Is there conviction or not? Dont make people Mad with the gospel!
LESSON SIX THE FOLLOW - UP
Salvation - is a FACT not a FEELING. A. Pray - (Luke 11:1) and that daily; B. Read the Bible - (2 Tim.2:15) / (PS.119:105,130). C. Witness - (Acts 1:8) Just Tell what they know. D. Attend a Bible believing church (yours if possible) (Heb. 10:25).
A. CALL or Go by their house. B. They need ATTENTION (1 Peter 2:2). C. Ask them to COME to CHURCH. D. Befriend them to other CHURCH members. E. Help them with the making new FRIENDS.
