in September, 2001 between CSR Yangtze Rolling Stock Corporation and USA
ABC Rail Products China Investment Corporation, which is a high-tech
enterprise for world leading swing motion bogies design, production, sales and
services. The company has land area of 60,000 ㎡, fixed assets value of RMB
120 million, registered capital of RMB 108 million, and annual output capacity of
30,000 tons.

Zhuzhou ABC Rail Products Co., Ltd. was founded on the basis of the
foundry workshop of CSR Zhuzhou Rolling Stock Works with 40-year foundry
experiences, strong technical capability and team work spirit, so it set good
foundation for further development of the company. Furthermore, the Chinese
investment party is CSR Yangtze Rolling Stock Corporation, which is the biggest
freight wagons manufacturing base in Southeast Asia. Therefore, Zhuzhou ABC
Rail Products Co., Ltd. has sound domestic sales of railway castings, which
account for about 11% of China railway market. The USA investment party

belongs to Amsted Rail Group, one of the major railway products suppliers in
America with broad sales market in America and Europe, which had market
share over 70% in North America.
斯威公司前身为中国南车集团株洲车辆厂铸钢车间，从事专业铸造四十余年，
有着自身深厚的技术积累和公司团队文化，从而为公司的后续发展奠定了坚实的
基础。其次，从投资主体市场背景而言，斯威公司的中方投资主体南车长江车辆
有限公司，是东南亚第一大货车车辆制造基地，因此，斯威公司有着深厚的国内
铁路铸件产物市场背景，所生产的国内铸件占国内铁路市场的 11%左右。公司的
美方投资主体为美国主要铁路产物制造、销售集团—Amsted Rail Group（安捷
达）的旗下骨干铸钢公司，亦有着广阔的欧美等国外产物市场背景，其产物占有

Zhuzhou ABC Rail Products Co., Ltd. insisted on offering good quality
products to all customers globally with scientific management, outstanding
quality, and satisfied services. There were plenty kinds of castings products,
including side frames and bolsters of K4, K5, K6, 27-ton axle-load, 30-ton
axle-load, #16 & #17 couplers and yokes, 470A side frames, draw bars, several
types of side frames and bolsters for Australia, Brazil side frames and bolsters,
Thailand components and other non-railway castings. The products were sold to
USA, Brazil, Australia, Thailand, India, Angola, Namibia etc.

Talents groups establishment are highly stressed in the company. Good
teams set good foundation for talents. The company consisted of seven
departments and one office with total 684 employees, including 22 engineers, 54
management personnel, 608 workers. Among them, 45 university education, 65
college education. Furthermore, 16 of them had senior vocational level, 21
middle vocational level, and 10 primary vocational level. Among the workers, 19
are special technical employees, 68 senior operators, and 114 middle level
operators. In the company, there is one auditor registered with national quality
control system audit qualification and 16 internal quality control auditors.

Employees trainings are held in advance, timely, efficiently and fruitfully to
improve operation quality. The company spent lots of expenses and sources for
training with vary types of trainings, including internal trainings and long-term
cooperation with other famous domestic training facilities. Besides, USA
technical experts came to the company for technical instruction trainings. Also,
engineers and technicians were sent to USA for training.

Complete quality control systems were established with strong quality
control capability. AAR M-1003 certificate was awarded in 2004 and renewed in
2007. ISO9001-2000 certificate was awarded in 2006 and ISO 9001-2008
certificate was awarded in 2009.

The strong new products development capability relies on a group of high
skilled engineers with lots foundry process and tooling design experiences.
Particularly on tooling design, the engineers use 3D model design with high
efficiency and accurate dimensions.

The company has building areas of 33,500 ㎡ and lots advance equipment
for production and inspection.. The annual output capacity is over 30,000 tons.
The major equipments are as below:
公司拥有 3.35 万平方米的厂房面积以及多台、套先进的生产和检测设备，年
生产铸件能力达三万吨以上。各工序主要设备情况如下：
Melting process: Two 6t/25KVA EAFs with capacity for big size castings
steel; one LAB spectrometer imported from Germany with rapid and accurate
chemical analysis.
Molding process: Two BP slingers; one BP 100 muller; two D 18A mullers;
four Palmer continuous mixer; one Palmer core line; one set core-setting robot
for bolster and side frames; two bolster and side frame core-blowers with type
Z8480 and Z84160.
Finishing process: Three automatic control natural gas heat-treatment
furnaces 3m*5.5m/1200℃ with stable temperature control; one single arm 3D
layout machine; one digital ultrasonic detect instrument; three ultrasonic metal
thickness instruments; two wet MPI equipments for bolster and side frames; one
wet MPI equipment for couplers.
冶炼工序：两台 6t/25KVA 电弧炼钢炉，具备生产较大型铸件的能力。一台 LAB
型德国进口直读光谱仪，炉前化学分析快速、准确。
造型工序：BP 抛砂机二台、BP100 型及 D18A 型碾砂机共三台、Palmer 连续式

B. Sand treatment system: Three mullers from USA--2 sets DISA Muller and 1
set BP100 Muller. The daily sand process capacity is 1,000 tons per day which
could meet the requirement for heavy castings production.
二、砂处理系统：2 台 DISA、1 台 BP100 碾砂机美国原装设备。每日型砂处理能
力可达 1000 吨，能满足大型铸件的生产。

D. Electric Arc Furnace: two sets 5500KVA electric arc furnaces made in Poland
with max.150 tons/day and 2,500~3,000 tons/month.
四、电弧炉：2 台波兰产，5500KVA 的电弧炉，日最高产量为 150 吨，月产量在
2500～3000 吨之间。

E. Spectrometer with 24 channels made by Germany SPECTRO company for

五、德国 SPECTRO 生产 24 通道多成分光谱分析仪，对每一炉钢的成分取样分
析、记录达到成分要求才能出钢，确保铸件的质量。

F. NDT system: Two wet fluorescent magnetic powder NDT machines for big
castings, one wet fluorescent magnetic powder NDT machine for small castings,
which are used to inspect every casting with site supervision video for casting
defects inspection.
六、探伤系统：2 台大件湿法荧光磁粉探伤机、1 台小件荧光磁粉探伤机。对每一
件产物进行探伤，有现场监督视频，不让有缺陷产物流出。

G. Heat treatment system: Two natural gas car-type heat treatment furnaces,
one car-type heat treatment furnace with diesel/natural gas usage, 3m x 5.5m
internal cabinet, automatic temperature controlling system, which could meet the
requirement for heat treating of heavy casting.
七、热处理系统：2 台天然气台车式热处理炉、1 台油气两用型台车式热处理炉，
内部尺寸 3mx5.5m，自动温控系统，能满足大件的热处理。
