Sam 'stumbled' into the field of records management over 27 years ago. Since then he has obtained his CRM designation and his MBA degree. Both of these accomplishments were in response to the growing evolution of his profession from 'Records Management' to 'Information Governance'.
Along the way, he has held board level positions within the ARMA Calgary Chapter and the AIIM Western Canada chapter. He has also designed and taught two of the six RIM courses at SAIT Polytechnic. He has presented at regional, national, and international conferences for both ARMA and AIIM on Information Mgt and Information Governance.
