Sonia Novaes is a Brazilian graduate in Philosophy from PUC - University. In 1997, she began her studies in Eastern Philosophy and Yoga. In February 2003 she visited India to study with Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati. She remained in India for four years to deepen the studies of Vedanta and Sanskrit with her teacher Swami Brahmavidyananda Saraswati. In addition to staying on "Swami Dayananda Ashram - Rishikesh", she visited sacred places and studied in the region of the Himalayas and South India, thus encompassing more the Vedic culture and religious tradition. Today, Sonia lives in India and dedicates her life to study and teach Vedanta, Sanskrit and Vedic Culture in India and Brazil
