About
Research and development of telecommunication network architecture and protocol support of data network technologies, such as Internet Protocol and Ethernet. A primary specialty is development of network architecture using high reliability technologies for Ethernet.
Masahiro had been engaged in development of services for corporate users such as wide area Ethernet services. Since 2006, he actively participated in standardization meetings of ITU-T SG15. He is one of the editor of ITU-T G.8032 (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching).
Currently, he engages in development of Data Center network architecture for Cloud Computing service.
