I started dancing at the age of three when my Mom sent me to dance school. At age 17, I started winning some dance contests in LA after taking a few Modern Dance classes at UCLA. I danced in clubs for years. Whether on stage or among the crowd, I felt like this is what I do best in life. I graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and practiced Medicine for a while. However, my passion was calling. I left the practice of Medicine in order to study dance at the college level. I studied at Santa Monica College with a number of outstanding professors, among whom are Mary Bender (Guggenheim Fellow in Modern Dance), Iris Pell (Soloist for the Bella Lewinsky Co.) and Michael Skelton.
