The Wisconsin Army National Guard is the oldest military organization in America, tracing its roots back to 1636, almost 150 years before the country or any other military branch was formed. The National Guard serves a "dual mission", serving our state and community during emergencies and our nation during times of war. We offer a part time commitment; meaning after your initial training you will drill one weekend per month and two weeks each Summer, leaving the rest of the time for yourself. Want to go to college?
