Shefali Akter Shetu was born in Comilla, Bangladesh. I am working at Aperture as a Managing Director, Photographer and Documentary Maker. In 2007-2008 I was in India working for DrikIndia through a professional skill sharing exchange program by Fredkorpset.
Since 1999 I worked in Image and video related jobs in reputable organizations such as Drik, SARPV, Panos Bangladesh, World View International Foundation. My work experience was included responsibilities from rendering professional photography and video making services to teaching and training on basic photography, editing photo-stories and video documentaries and to event and office management.
