My childhood was pretty normal, went to Wellsburg Primary West for three years, then moved to Bethany. I went to school the rest of the way through 8th grade there. Then I went to Brooke High School in Wellsburg, WV for four years. I graduated from there in 1983, and went on to West Liberty State College.
I am a 10-year veteran of the West Virginia Army National Guard. During that time, I had various duties.
