I have been married forty two years to Jeanne, my best friend in college at Sacramento State. On our first date I took her to a lecture on 鈥淧olitically Inappropriate鈥� Victorian Literature at a professor鈥檚 home we gave a ride home to an elderly blind man and his seeing-eye dog. Our lives have been just as unconventional ever since. We had all our windows blown out by the 鈥渨eatherman鈥� terrorists and got married in Berkeley, the day People鈥檚 Park exploded with 50,000 marchers.
