It's a mystery to everyone.....Well not really, I was born in Iowa on a farm, moved to Tucson was I was a little boy, I grew up in Tucson, AZ went college at the UofA and graduated in 03 with a B.S. in M.E. and a M.S. in 08 in Solid Mechanics and Reliability. I worked at Steward Observatory from 03- to 08. I married my lovely wife Jemma Claire in Oct 08. I took a job at CFHT in Nov 08 and have been working at one of the most world renowned and influential observatories in the world and it just happens to be in Hawaii. I am a lucky guy!
