I grew up as a military kid, ending up in Hawaii for high school (Moanalua HS) and then off to college at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Lived on the mainland in various locations for a number of years and returned to Hawaii in 2000. Finding Hawaii to be a challenge at times but certainly "paradise" as most would say.
