HISTORY of SRCDC
In May 1969, a group of men in Sabitan St., Sto. Rosario, Malolos, Bulacan conceptualized the formation of a local bank. With the assistance of San Dionisio Credit Cooperative in Para帽aque, Rizal, Sabitan Cooperative Credit Union was formed with an initial capital of P741.00. In 1975, this cooperative was again registered in the Bureau of Cooperatives under the name, Sto. Rosario Credit Cooperative, Inc. In 2002, the cooperative name was amended into Sto. Rosario Credit and Development Cooperative (SRCDC) with its aim to engage into other businesses aside from lending.
