EDUC 190 2007-23598 ____________________________________________________________________________ Reflection Extract 4 Taking Educ 190 helped me to learn and to discover new things. The lessons in this subject had helped me a lot in relation with my course. Through this subject, it made me be a better person because this subject helped me to be more responsible with my studies. It also developed on how to manage my time with regards with my academics and social life. Many requirements are really required in this subject but these requirements were helpful because a lot of realizations came into my life. One of my realization here in this subject that education is really important in our daily lives. With the help of education, people learn and know the things that are right and wrong. And with the technology, it makes our lives easy and to communicate with other people far from us. And in conclusion, education and technology are vital in our lives because these things really affect our living. One of the lessons that had an impact on me was the skills development. Skills development because this topic helped me to enhance my skills with regards to the html and css. These topics would also help me in the future in making web pages that could also be a source of income if needed. Another lesson that caught my attention was about the educational games. Through educational games, I have realized the importance of it because without these educational games it would be harder for the kids and students to learn the basic learning when they were young. In addition, educational games also helped the students to catch their attention to learn new things through the technology that has been invented nowadays. It also helped the students to motivate them to study so that they won’t be lazy to study and learn new things with the help of educational games. Moreover, the topic about mobile learning was also an interesting topic for me because I have found out that mobile devices were not just mobile devices but also a mobile device which
give you the benefit of learning. As the technology is being invented more and more, the advantage of mobile devices has also been invented. With the help of mobile devices, schools are making this as an instrument for learning without the use of notebooks, books and etc. With this, I just realized that we should be thankful to all who invented and developed technology because without these people, we won’t have these mobile devices for m-learning. These lessons that were mentioned above were lessons that should not be forgotten because these are really helpful for us in the future. Let us not be satisfied with those simple things but continue to develop it as a contribution for the world.
