I advocate the notion of "Having Sincerity towards one's purpose" as the key recipe for success. Education per se does not mean promotion of "technocratic-meritocratic" world view and more often than not, true to the words of Ivan Illich, we end up "confusing teaching with learning, grade advancement with education, a diploma with competence and fluency with ability to say something new". Instead by education we should Inculcate in ourselves the quality of questioning, doubting and challenging rather than accepting and confronting rather than acquiescence. My purpose of life is learning and contributing towards making this world a better place than what I found it to be.
