Supun Sanjaya Katugampala is a Sri Lankan, B.Sc. Special Degree (Chemistry) Honours alumnus, who graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2014. He delivered a speech on "Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Studies of Novel Copper-Triazine Complexes鈥� on his original thesis at the 41st NOBCChE Annual Conference in New Orleans, USA.
He is currently working at National Research Council of Sri Lanka (NRC) as a Scientific/Research Officer, where his responsibilities include initiating, managing and administrating Target Oriented Multidisciplinary Research Grants and serving as the Chief Organiser of the main event of President's Awards for Scientific Publications since 2017.
