I am basically a metallurgist and my research interests includes arc welding, solid state welding, corrosion, nanotechnology, laser surface treatments. My PhD was on improving the corrosion resistance of AA 2219 aluminium alloy by friction stir welding(FSW) and laser surface melting. I have 3 years of post doctoral experience in which I was working on FSW of copper and tool wear studies.
