Every hardship and joy in my life has come together to make me a better teacher, parent, and person. My son, Matt, who has Asperger's Syndrome & other special challenges, is an inspiration to me with his humor, his frankness, and his positive outlook. I find joy in simple things, enjoy the challenge of the complex, and think one lifetime is way too short to take it all in. My family, friends, and faith mean the world to me.
