I am generally interested in all aspects of telecommunication. My particular areas of interest are application and service related aspects, e.g. next generation networks (NGN), service protocols, architectures and service platforms (e.g. VoIP, SIP, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), XML-based telco service frameworks/applications e.g. HTML5, VXML, ccXML). Further areas of interest and present/past work experience include; Intelligent Networks (IN), SS7 signaling, OMA architecture and enablers, mobile networks (GSM, 3G/UMTS, 4G LTE, 5G), media platforms, IVR, video coding (H.324, MPEG), directory systems (LDAP, X.500), systems and network management (SNMP...
