Dr. Yoshida’s research focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying active visual and haptic perception. In particular, this research focuses on the role of sensory memory acquisition and integration across sensors during volitional movements, and its applications for large-scale image devices and sensory substitutions. Dr. Yoshida is also interested in educations and applications of psychophysics and eye-tracking, and has assessed the usability of prototypes for academic and industry-based applications.
