I've been teaching English in Japan since 1993. I began as an ALT with the JET Programme, then after my three year stint I worked at the Toyama College of Foreign Languages in Toyama City, Japan. From 2009 to 2012 I taught English full-time at Toyo Gakuen University in Chiba Prefecture while still living with my family in Toyama. Currently I'm an Associate Professor at the University of Toyama, focusing mainly on English conversation and composition. In addition, since 2010 I've been teaching part-time on Fridays at Chukyo University in Nagoya.
