One hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, how big my house was, or what kind of car I drove. But the world may be a little better, because I was important in the life of a child.
I taught elementary school for 9 years in the Scioto Valley School District in Piketon, Ohio and then moved to one of their rival schools, Westfall, where I was a principal for a couple of years. After meeting my future husband, Dennis, who was from the Dayton area, I moved closer to him and became principal at Enon Elemenary School.
