Started my business career as a Chartered Accountant being admitted as a partner of KPMG Peat Marwick in 1991. I left chartered accounting in 1999 being appointed as the CFO of the listed investment company, Southern Capital Limited.
Transferred to an operational role as General Manager of Power Hire (the specialist generator hire subsidiary of Hirequip) and promoted to joint Chief Executive of Hirequip in July 2005.
