I have always desired to "make a difference" and thought a life dedicated to the acquisition of possessions was not for me...and have certainly lived that way. Even though I have traveled, worked, researched and volunteered abroad- now that I am living it full time I am more certain than ever that I would never be satisfied without some sort of service mixed with adventure in my life.
