I specialize in helping to design, architect and implement web application software which supports digital preservation, scholarly communications and/or libraries (and similar archival institutions). I am an open source software community organizer (for DSpace open source software), helping our volunteers to plan releases, set policies/procedures and communicate roadmaps. I am a service architect and technical support lead (for DSpaceDirect), helping to get customers up-and-running while streamlining the underlying infrastructure management (via tools like Puppet).
