The inaugural London Tournament held at the St George's Festival on April 25th was a great success. Over 3000 people attended the full contact medieval combat event at the Steel Henge arena in the amphitheatre. Knights fought in one on one armored singles combat until John 'Sharky' Quayle was crowned London Champion. A Battle of Agincourt melee and last man standing 'Meat-Grinder' battle entertained the crowds. The festival also included Morris dancing, falconry displays, and archery.
