BS in Computer Engineering in 1988. Hired by IBM, working at ROLM Division on a variety of Telco projects for 2.5 yrs. When IBM sold ROLM to Siemens, returned to computers by joining Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Served Sun customers remotely from the 800 support center, and face to face in the greater Dallas area and Oklahoma. Worked on all manner of servers and storage solutions - install, config, maintain, teach.
Project managed the release of new products by reviewing and approving support plans, training plans, and writing technical summaries for each. Area of specialty is storage products, which Sun produced in house, as well as OEM from vendors HDS, qLogic, Brocade, Veritas.
