My name is Michael McKenna and I grew up in Western Massachusetts. I am the second of four children, and the only boy in the family. My parents raised my sisters and me in a loving Irish Catholic household, and instilled values and morals. I was introduced to sports at an early age, and fell in love with baseball and soccer. I played competitively from the age of 6 all the way through high school. Many of my childhood friendships, and eventually lifelong friendships, were formed on those sports teams. I attended a private elementary and middle school, and matriculated to Holyoke High School, a public high school. I graduated in the Top 25 of my class, and went on to the University of
