In April 1969, I was finishing up my graduate degree at Marshall. I decided to go to Daytona Beach on spring break with three PiKA's (Byron Snell, Andy Smith and one other Pike). On the way to Daytona Beach we stopped by to see Joe McVay and Nelson Pace in Atlanta at about 3:00 a.m. in the morning. They lived at the Riverbend Apartment complex (Riverbend Apartments were featured in the movie "Catch Me If You Can" starring Leonardo Di Caprio) located on the Chattahoochee River. This place looked so cool to me with the river and the beautiful clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts and a couple thousand swinging singles.
