About
‘We Are All Visitors’, or W.A.A.V., is a social campaign designed to acknowledge and enrich a comprehensiveness of Indigenous Australian cultures, histories and communities present in the pan-regional films of Indigenous Cinema.
It functions as an intercultural framework to mediate Indigenous Australian historical, social and cultural specificities in Indigenous Cinema, whether that be by virtue of elucidating relevant information in Indigenous Peoples’ culturally-specific storytelling traditions for culturally unfamiliar audiences, in order to drive meaningful, ethical responses through understanding, learning, growing and creating significant contributions towards Aboriginal Peoples
