I am proponent of modern cloud-native application architecture involving NoSQL or object based data layer, 12-factor apps, Infrastructure as Code and PaaS.
Coming from networking I focus on SDN, network virtualization and modern means of network operations including Chef, NETCONF, OpenFlow or Brite-box, but also covering other infrastructure components including computing, storage and security.
