In July 2016, my wife and I moved from Doha to Hanoi to begin teaching for Concordia International School. I am teaching humanities subjects to 11th and 12th graders while my wife teaches preschoolers. In Qatar, I worked for Oxford Learning, a Canada-based franchise; I managed one of their tutoring centers in Doha. I also worked for American Public University System teaching humanities and religion courses online. In Malaysia from 1998 to 2013, I was a pastor and then a dean at a university in Kuala Lumpur.
