Tom is a life-long student and educator. He is the author of several ESL textbooks, a veteran broadcaster and a professional voice artist. He produces podcasts, slide presentations, screencasts and videos for students and teachers. Commercially, his voice has been in demand by international clients as Toyota, Yamaha, McDonald's and Hitachi.
He is associate professor of linguistics at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies in central Japan, where he coordinates the oral communication program for the Department of British and American Studies, and serves as Director of the university's Speaking Lab.
