My purpose is to re-imagine science education as it should be. Too often it resembles spoon-feeding a boring body of knowledge into an unwilling body of students. What was once just a conviction became a strategy, once cognitive science gave me the tools for making learning a whole lot better. My job is to try to bridge that gaping chasm between research and effective classroom practice.
