I have made mistakes. I have fallen down. I have felt let down and put down and beaten up and heart crushingly alone. But I have not given up. And I will not give up. I have learned and I will keep learning. And I will keep fighting. Fighting the odds and the people and myself at times. I will fight what is expected and achieve what is not. For those I love and for those who love me, I will keep going, working, fighting, living and thriving. I will leave my mark, however small, in the world I leave behind so that when I’m about to leave it I will be able to look back and know that through immeasurable effort and however small a result, I leave it a better world than the one I came into.
