Tracy Andrus is a native of Crowley, Louisiana and a graduate of Crowley High class of 1981. Tracy Andrus is a graduate of Louisiana College, University of Louisiana Monroe and Prairie View A&M University. He is a Criminologist and Pastor. He is the author of four books: Beneath the Skin of Black Folks, A Macroanalysis of Poverty and African American Incarceration, From Prisoner to PhD, and his latest book published in Dec 2011 - Why Are So Many Black Folks In Jail.
