My name is Zelalem (Zel) Mengistu Canadian of Ethiopian origin. I am married and have a boy and three girls. While the family lives in Montreal, I work in the Third World with the United Nations and its sister organization - IOM. Actually I started out with IOM in 2005 to help with the Pakistan Earthquake. Then moved on to the Great Lakes Region bordering Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and DRC. Then moved to Indonesia with UN proper in areas affected by Sunami. Currently I am back to Pakistan (Islamabad).
