V.VA SRIRAM FROM 29-09-2008 TO 30-09-2008 On 29'h, 30.11.2008 RIPE classes were conducted for the benefit of I year students at RMKCET. Dr.T.Rengaraja, Dean RMKCET welcomed the gathering. The Director of RIPE introduced his team to the students. The crew concentrated on the following thrust areas. JAYA PRAKASH GANDHI FROM 07-11-2008 TO 08-11-2008 A Motivation Programme was held on 7.11.2008 & 8.11.2008 by Shri. Jayaprakash Gandhi. Dr.K.K.Thyagharajan, Principal, RMKCET rendered the welcome address also introduced and honored the guest. This programme focused on the following skills Smile Communication Personality Creative Thinking Logical Reasoning Positive Thinking Passion for work He also provided add on information on various common Entrance Examinations. The programme had a very great impact among the students of RMKCET.

M. Arabi has presented a paper on "Early Diagnosis of Breast Carcinoma by FIR Emission from Microwave Heated Tissues" at the International Conference on 'Computer Communication and Networking' conducted by Chettinadu Engg. College, Karur from 18.12.2008 to (1) Dr.T.Rengaraja has published a paper on 20.12.2008. "Adaptive System for Tower Structure" in the International Journal, Nova Science. INVITED TALK - CONFERENCE / WORKSHOP PRESENTATION / GUEST LECTURES DELIVERED BY STAFF (1) Dr. K. K.Thyagharajan, delivered a Special talk on "Image Content Analysis using Flash and Flash Media Server" in the National Seminar "Pattern Recognition for Multimedia Content Analysis" at National Engineering College, Kovilpatti on 17.05.08. (2) Dr.T.Ruban Deva Prakash has published a paper on "Sensitivity Analysis of Photo Voltaic Inverters to Voltage Sags" in International Journal, Imanager's Journal on Electrical Engineering. PAPERS PRESENTED BY STAFF IN CONFERENCES / SEMINARS (1) Ms. Pearline Sheeba presented a paper on "Orthonormal Partitioning and parameter Extraction of Heart rate Variable" in an International conference "Orthonormal Partitioning and Parameter Extraction of Heart Rate Variablity" conducted by Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 11.08.08 to 13.08.08.
