If I had to describe myself, I wouldn't say my layers were like an onion. Mine are usually more like Baklava - sweet, flaky and nutty... I am a total nerd, and yet a hopeless romantic. I've found that time DOESN'T heal all wounds, but Bugs Bunny bandaids make them look better. I have a hard time accepting that we are approaching middle age, when I still feel so young inside! I have been blessed with my family and friends - and all have a permanent place in my heart, and I miss everyone I don't get to see often enough (or at all).
