Associate Professor Nguyen Viet Nhung is currently Director of the National Lung Hospital, Manager of the National Tuberculosis Control Program.
Dr. Nhung obtained his medical degree from Hanoi Medical University and did his 3-year residency specialized in tuberculosis and respiratory diseases at the National Lung Hospital in Hanoi and completed PhD scholarship in the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic in 2000 with thesis on the role of immunohistochemistry in typing and diagnosis of lung cancer.
