Vinay M K was born in Mangalore, India, in 1976. He received the B.E. degree in electronics engineering with 2nd rank from the University of Mysore, Mysore, India, in 1998, and the M.Tech. degree in electrical engineering specializing in digital signal processing from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, Kanpur, India, in 2001.
In March 2001, he joined Emuzed India Pvt Ltd, as a design engineer, and grew up to head the audio processing team in 2005.
