Mr. Amatya has accumulated an extensive and progressively responsible work experiences in energy planning, climate change and adaptation issues and project/program planning, organisation development and management. His areas of interest include energy system optimisation, GHG and climate change related research and analysis,and recently hydro power development.
Among others, Amatya had successfully prepared, negotiated and implemented Energy Sector Assistance Programme, Phase II for Nepal funded by Danida and Norway.
