My personal interests are software development for Linux, going from kernel hacking to userspace programming and scripting. I like the idea of knowing everything that is related to what I'm doing -- so if I'm developing a web application, I like to know how PHP works internally, how Apache works, how the network stack works, how the scheduler works, etc, so that I can properly debug and optimize the system in question.
