My interest lies broadly in the area of microbiology, mycology, ecology and biological statistics. More specifically, during my doctoral studies I have worked on 1) thinning effects on fungal diversity and community, and 2) the ecology and population genetics of a new macrofungal species in that forest. Furthermore, I have extensive hands on experience in how disturbances or pollutions affect microbial diversity, community and activity in different ecosystem by high throughput sequencing and traditional method.
