I am the team leader for the Strathmore University finance team under the project focusing on the Mukuru kwa Njenga and Mukuru kwa Rueben slum in Nairobi. As the finance team leader, I take a lead role in designing the research methodology, gathering data analyzing results and generating proposals of new financing processes that can be used to influence and achieve positive change in both formal and informal institution that have upheld the existence of informal settlements I have successfully led the team through a year of field research and reporting.
